It was the old lion's time to go, for angels come in many guises.I've added a few highlights. I'm gonna call this one finished for now. I may fine tune it in a few days, once it has settled down.

Thanks. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I was surprised how easy it was. Sometimes I think I over work them. Sometimes they just work from the outset. Or does that only happen when it's a good composition? Who know's, I don't, hehe.

Well, it usually works out this way when the composition is good.
How do you get oil paint to dry so fast?

Just being silly.
The paint only takes about 24hrs to dry. I don't do anything to it. I mix it with cheap old household turps substitute, if that makes any difference. Don't know. I just go for the cheapest stuff.
I think you can get an Alkyd mixture or something or other, that speeds up drying times, but yet more expense.
It's one of those things. Maybe my paintings would look better if I used the proper materials. I used to paint on decorators ling paper, cheap again. Then Mount board, then hardboard, all cheap. I only started on canvas, not too long ago. I will stick with this though. It's worth the extra cost. My brushes are a cheap old set of 12 hogs hair brushes for £1, lol. They do the job though.
It can be bloody expensive, if you buy all the kit, as I'm sure you know.
I made a decision , a while back, that if I wasn't making much of a profit, I would at least stop running at a loss.
