Un altro dei miei personaggi originali ispirati al film WALL-E. SCUBA (Submarine Cleaner for Underwater Basic Analysis) è un vecchio prototipo della BnL, creato per ripulire gli oceani dall'inquinamento. Purtroppo i robot della sua serie furono ritenuti inefficienti e richiamati in massa; successivamente alcuni ingegneri della Axiom si sono basati sui progetti originali della serie SCUBA per creare BRIDGET ([link] ), ecco perché i due si assomigliano. Nel gioco di ruolo su Walleforum, SCUBA è l'ultimo superstite della sua serie; infatti il suo comunicatore GPS era rimasto danneggiato in seguito a un incidente e quindi lui non ricevette mai la direttiva di ritiro immediato; rimase sulla terra (ma è più esatto dire sott'acqua) per oltre settecento anni, senza sapere che l'umanità aveva abbandonato il pianeta e continuando solerte a cercare di ripulire gli oceani... senza grandi risultati! L'inquinamento gli ha un po' dato ai circuiti, infatti adesso va matto per le bolle (come Bubbles nel film "Alla Ricerca di Nemo"), anche se le perde continuamente! Inoltre è claustrofobico ed è convinto che "gli SCUBA non sono fatti per vivere in una scatola, li cambia dentro!" (come diceva Branchia sempre in "Alla ricerca di Nemo", riferito all'acquario), quindi non entrerà mai in un'astronave o in uno spazio chiuso. Chiama tutte le cose belle (o comunque positive) "bolle", quelle brutte "scatole", e quando vede qualcuno triste o di cattivo umore la sua domanda è sempre la stessa: "Hai perso le tue bolle?" A causa del suo GPS danneggiato ci sente solo se qualcuno si rivolge a lui in inglese (anziché nel linguaggio dei robot), ma nonostante sia un po' svanito, gli basta poco per essere felice ed è un robot molto solare e amichevole.

Another of my WALL-E inspired OCs. SCUBA (Submarine Cleaner for Underwater Basic Analysis) is an old BnL prototype created to clean the polluted oceans. Sadly all the robots of this series were deemed defective and recalled; later on some Axiom engineers relied to the original project when creating BRIDGET([link] ), which is why the two robots are kinda similar. In the RP on Walleforum (www.walleforum.com), SCUBA is the last survivor of his series; his GPS communicator was damaged due to an accident and therefore he never heard the directive of mass recall; he stayed on earth (well, he stayed underwater) for over 700 years, unaware that the humanity had fled the planet as he continued to try and clean the ocens... to no avail! The polluted water had negative repercussions on his circuits, in fact he now likes bubbles (like Bubbles from "Finding Nemo") even though he "looses them" all the time. He's also claustrophobic and believes that "SCUBAs aren't meant to live in a box, it does things to them" (like Gill said in "Finding Nemo"), therefore he'll never float in a spaceship or in any other closed space. He calls all nice or otherwise positive things "bubbles", unpleasant things "boxes", and when he sees someone upset his trademark question is "Have you lost your bubbles?" Due to his damaged GPS he can only hear english (not robotic talk), but even though he's a bit nutty, he doesn't need much to be happy and is a very friendly and sunny spirited robot.
