To be fair the photograph came first. I then quickly saw the connection with the Alice in Wonderland illustrations. However, that was unusual, I normally struggle to find a good title. As for the description, I'm always tempted to put a lone full stop as some others do! Luckily Alice was in my mind though. Thanks for your appreciation.

I remember reading Alice in Wonderland as a child, particularly seeing the wonderful line drawing of the Cheshire cat. The caterpillar wasn't bad either but as yet I don't have a macro lens! Pleased you liked it.

She is indeed cute, for an imposter. She is not smiling, and I have serious doubt she is from cheshire. Other than that she is a natural model.

I wish you'd stop giving away my tricks and secrets. Do you know how much money I've saved not paying the real Cheshire cat? There are strong precedents, for example Queen Elizabeth II in "Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad" - I may be wrong but I'm reasonably sure QEII was substituted by an actress! My conscience is clear (enough).
