Description
And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, howcould it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages,
boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch
thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store.
What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.
Dr Seuss
"Christmas gift suggestions:
To your enemy, forgiveness.
To your opponent, tolerance.
To a friend, your heart.
To a customer, service.
To all, charity.
To every child, a good example.
To yourself, respect."
Oren Arnold

The American robin is more like our thrush in size and shape, twice the size of the English robin. Our robin is a cheeky little fellow that's regularly seen in our gardens and a perennial on Christmas cards

Christmas and robins are irrevocably linked. I just thought the Grinch quote was so appropriate in our modern consumer lead world. When I saw the second quote it was necessary to use both together in my mind. Glad you are thinking along the same lines.
Hope you had a great Christmas yourself

As I suggested earlier, it was grossly underexposed from the camera, the resulting serendipitous effect was rescue by the Nikon programme.
The only relevant fact here is he's really an adorable robin! Thanks for the comment and have a great Christmas
