Hey there all, as you might've noticed, Deviantart has currently begun a "How to draw Spiderman" event for the site, with the offer of a unique badge up for entering the event. I took part in it on my other account doing Spider-Man himself, so this time I opted to use the tutorial to do something fairly different; my favorite Member of Marvel's Spider-Family; Silk. She is very closely related to (in plot) Peter Parker, and a friend of his in the Official Marvel Comics, so I figured this might still be closely enough to work for the event. That said, I do not know this for sure, so if it's not close enough to fit the tutorial event that's okay too. I just thought it would be interesting to use the tutorial video to do something different. For those who don't know; Silk, AKA Cindy Moon, is a Korean-American girl close in age to Peter Parker, as she was in the very same Class that took the fateful field trip that netted the famous Web-Head his Powers. Cindy herself was also bit by that same Spider, which is where her own Powers came from. In terms of persona, she is a kind of retro-oriented nerd girl, with references to gaming and other relatable things. I identify with her fairly well, so I sought to give her some more spotlight here.
