i'm pretty sure it gave out due to anderson getting knocked around and not due to his weight, which i'm sure is more muscle than fat XD

Oh, he hasn't a fat once on him. Maxwell just likes to be offensive because he knows he can get away with it. I also imagine Anderson is pretty vain about how he appears so he knows a remark like that pisses him off highly.
Solid muscle is pretty heavy so it was probably a combination of both.
