Here is a character from a story I've been thinking about lately! The drawing isn't of a specific or main character from the story, but she represents a group from the story. I still haven't come up with a name for the group, so if you have any suggestions leave them in the comments! Also she does have feet, I just couldn't find a good way to fit them onto the page! Now, I'll go over the story so far in the best way I can.

The happiest day of the year, Separation Day, was celebrated because it represented the day that the country gained independence from the mainland. It was the 245th Separation Day when it all went down. The holiday started off normal, with everyone dressing in their best clothes, and the mayor setting up the Gala. When all the attendees arrived, it went exactly as planned. Partying, food, drinks, and dancing.
Though after the clock set its hands on 6:32, there was rainfall. Rain, in general, was rare in this country, so it just made the night a whole lot better. Children and their parents ran outside, splashing in the fresh drops of water. At exactly 6:36, one child screamed out in pain. He grabbed his wrist, staring at the now decaying hold in the center of his palm. Soon enough, people were yelling with him, holes burning into the skin of all who stepped outside.
Heavy acid rain.
Soon everyone was rushing to buildings, though they too started to corrode and fall apart. The country was being destroyed, on the very day it was born.
Two years later, society has not returned to what it once was. Survivors grouped together into different gangs, though other hung behind and stayed solo. The main group was the group the girl in the drawing is from (which is unnamed). The group covers their faces with animal skulls that were only half-corroded. They rob surrounding gangs and shops, terrorize solo survivors, and intimidate to get their way, because of the acid that got into their brains and drove them to insanity.
That's where the main characters come in. August was just 15 on Separation Day, so he had to adapt to the new country fast. He was out of the country when the acid rain poured down, so he arrived to a broken country and had to adapt fast to survive. One day, on his way to a nearby salesman, he meets Jasper.
Jasper was 18 on Separation Day, and avoided the rain because she was flying in a plane to her friend to celebrate in the neighboring country.
Soon, the two survivors have to learn how to survive against the insane animal skull gang that overtake the land, protect the weak, and rebuild the country to hopefully celebrate another Separation day once more.
