I drew this a little while back but I didn't feel like posting it because there was soooo much information Dx ...Well... here it goes

Name: Experiment 1
Nicknames/Codenames: Echo, Ex 1
Gender: Female
Species: Hedgehog
Hair Color: Violet
Eye Color: Red
Fur Color: Gray w/ peach/tan muzzle
Definitive markings: 01 branding tattoo on her upper left arm
Personality: Doesn't really have a personality at first, but once she is broken out of G.U.N. She begins to learn more and develops her personality then. She becomes a sincere, caring individual who is afraid of her own power and is quick to believe anything bad said about herself.
Bio: The prototype experiment for the Shadow project, Echo's power is unstable and has the capability to destroy everything within a fifty mile radius of her body. As such the shackles placed on her by G.U.N. seal most of her power so that this doesn't happen.
G.U.N. discovered Echo in a cryogenic sleep years ago and never mentioned it to anyone, determined to keep Experiment 1 hidden from the rest of creation. She was kept in an anti-chaos room to protect the rest of HQ in case she went on a rampage.
By the time Echo was found, any trace of personality or emotion was gone after being locked in that cell for so long alone.
When Shadow learned of his 'sister' experiment, he took it as a chance to have another family-like relationship like he had with Maria and agreed to help teach Echo how to speak and whatnot. After a while the two develop a close brother/sister relationship.
Friends: Light Speed, Shadow the Hedgehog, Amy Rose
Other fun facts: Echo doesn't sleep. Her body retains so much energy that it makes sleeping and eating unnecessary unless it is depleted in battle or otherwise. She CAN sleep if she tries, but it is usually difficult and hard for her to do unless she really is thoroughly exhausted.
The bulky shackles that act as limiters are later replaced by rings similar to Shadow's limiter rings but thinner and more feminine looking.
Echo can only control her power to a certain extent. She is powerful but it comes at a price. Too much use of power will lead to her losing control of it.
She was given her nickname because of a lack of ability to speak. For a long time, she could only repeat back the words spoken to her. Hence the name Echo.
