i actually didnt color this one but honestly i wouldnt change a thing.just like you i usually dont like photo skies as you can notice i never use them myself,but i think he did a superb job in blending it perfectly.

ThatΒ΄s great man! I love the work done on Colossus and CyclopsΒ΄pose and the way itΒ΄s drawn kinda reminds me of the Kubert style back in his 90's run on X-Men. not a big fan of Kubert myself but your illust does indeed capture that 90's feel and it goes beyond, I really dig it! Your amigo did an awesome job on the colors there! it really makes your illust come alive!

yeah when i first looked at this it kinda reminded me of kubert too but not andy,adam.90's was the golden age of comic art for me so i was definitely influenced by it, even by artists i never imitated outright like the kubert's.glad you like the work dude thanx for the look and comment.

Yep, I dig AdamΒ΄s art a lot more than I do his brotherΒ΄s and the 90Β΄s definitely fueled my passion for art and comic art in particular. It was indeed a golden age and spawned some of my favourite artist to date! I believe that in modern-age comic art, colors/effects have taken a major step forward and many artistsΒ΄styles are being influenced by that making their styles simpler in order for the color to "enhance" it. IΒ΄m not saying is a bad thing, but wehen it comes to pencil or inked art....nothing beats the 90's artists! 
Once again...awesome piece, canΒ΄t get enough of it
