I swear there is NO editing here! (well, I won't lie, I cut the image to make it square).
I was preparing myself for a photoshoot, and after I painted one eye and put one of the contact lenses, I was like, 'woah, makes a difference'. Had never really realized until now. Pale perfect skin, blue feline eye, big lips. And then freckled face, brown eye, no eyelashes.
Bam, cleaned my right side and took a picture. Sweet.
Just look at what make-up can do.

The side without makeup is more beautiful. It's more real and down-to-earth instead of fake.

What's more disgusting, rotting food or not rotting food? I ask because I saw a test where they put normal and McDonalds fries in glass containers, the normal ones rotted and the McDonalds ones did not, and this comment reminded me of it. I'm not saying the girl is ugly without make-up, though.

While this is lovely and both halves are beautiful, I really don't like how the composition is set up. The way the head is positioned with the top being cropped is a little awkward and distracting, and the way the person's angled kind of makes it feel like the person's head had been super-imposed onto a smaller body. It doesn't help that there's so much blur - for a picture like this, I think making everything super sharp and in-focus would work in its favor.
Just a few things to keep in mind, it's nice overall.

Wow. you are a beautiful woman in general, and the makeup just makes you an angel.This reminds me of before and after pictures, which many people use, so the originality is meh, but the impact and vision is much better. The technique is good, since the lighting is so-so and the outside is blurred out to make the actual vision of the half made-up face better seen. I have no more words, but this should've been a critique. Vision: 4 stars. Originality: 3 1/2 stars. Technique: 3 1/2 stars. Impact: 4 stars.

I am tempted to ask what is wrong with frecles, but I will ask you: How did you hide them so well? I have been asking around for ages, not able to find out. This summer I'm going to role playing camp, and my character does not have frecles...

I've always thought that brown eyes looked better with black make up, but the blue-ish purple is really lovely.
I do my make up a lot like this, in fact, sometimes with i'm doing my make up I actually do this, to see if i'd look better with out with out. It's always a fun experiment.

I made this a favourite because it's just fun.
As a kid, I'd describe my mother putting on make up as "drawing pictures".
I thought lipsticks and whatnot were crayons and colour pencils.

Wow.... this really breaks the deceptive illusion of makeup. It's wonderful for art, but not worth chasing after too much for other everdyay things. It is crazy what it can cover. But it causes the epiphany that we need to search for beauty in our natural looks, and embracing and enhancing that if anything.
