I love all the detail on the gears and wires, like the little imperfections or like unmentionables between the larger (yellow) section of the 'bigger' picture; the great amazing machine but the tiny thing that it can never do like.... omgosh ideas

you know i think we've seen a the high water mark for the perception that its all the software, i can see a shift back to traditional art conventions and elements within design.
do you agree or atleast recognise the possibility?

CrisVector In reply to butterfield123 [2006-03-06 17:08:52 +0000 UTC]
yeah....but mostly people still thinks the softwares can do everything, they could be a substitute of the brain, or they make the people lazy enough to think more about the work...
If this traditional art conventions are back, it could be a nice thing... You just can re-write the history if you read all history..

i don't think all the silly photoshop stuff is over.. i think we'll still be seeing the twirl filter for a few years to come.
however on a whole i have been seeing more thoughtfull art.

basicly we as artists, or all huanity for that matter are never going to except a convention or style for any amount of time.
your an awesome artist, and to me this piece is sort of saying "c'mon guys, what are you all doing? don't you rememeber how to think, or be an original artist/creatve person" and it seems to have been a theme with you lately not just in the art, but also in your journals and genral manner. i may be totally missing the mark, but if your feeling that way, don't feel bad about it, savour it.
it means your special, there will always be other creative people around, its just by nature that they are outnumbered by less creative people.
please just keep creating beautiful art that inspires.
who knows, there may be a complete technological devolution within our lifetime and we can go paint caves again.

yeah man...I'm very glad you can read my things by this way....I see everytime people just reproducing, just copying...just to get an "instant glory" or some "their 15 minutes of fame".... is it really important? Today is very easy to get this audience, but what to do with it? I wish the people could think more about the things, about the world, the other people, I wish the people could get more conscience to themselves as a world citizen... and think, using their brains to make this world a fair place to live.

i wholeheartedly agree with you cris, it reassuring that such vast distances apart we can still share a hope for a better collective consciousness, without any promting by either party.

Very cool! The main thing I like is the way IDEA put in the android's head... But I think that representation is wrong and it shows us that macines can produce IDEAs
