Description
Another piece done to the DepthCore's pack: A Series Of Untitled Dreams [link]I have a usual dream where I feel my body burning, in front of a nuclear explosion. Maybe it's because I'm fascinated by atomic energy and those scary bombs...
I hope this can be kept in the dream's world.
Again Poser and Photoshop...
Thank you all for the support you have given to my recent works..

Awesome, the flames can get up to 20,000 degrees so they would actually be in the violet spectrum of color.

This is very realistic. The extreme temperatures produced by a fission reaction or an atomic blast would indeed produce blue-white flames, due to their intense heat (the hottest stars in the universe are also blue-white). If you were standing right at the point where the fission reaction occurred, it would be exactly like standing at the surface of the sun. The body would simply evaporate.
Fantastic work, CrisVector! This is based on a dream, you say?

It would be very fast to burn a person with sheer energy, but I don't think it would be blue-white BECAUSE of the heat. Maybe because of the composition of carbon-based life forms, because the color is mostly related to the composition of the material, as well as the thoroughness of combustion. Heat can make the gas molecules glow like plasma, having some effect on blue coloration, but I have a feeling a burning person would just be your standard (albeit intensely bright) yellow fire. Not sure, and I hope there's never an instance in this world where we can see first hand what it would be like.

The sheer, unbearable quantities of heat from a nuclear blast are the most terrifying sources for burning alive. Our flesh lights up like a candle, our skin turns to ashes, and to top it all off, the shockwave obliterates all our dying matter into nothingness!
That's some scary shit right there, my friend. :scared:

You have dreams about Nuclear warfare, too?
I'm sad to report that almost every night my mind is completely focused on nuclear bombs exploding, surviving or in times NOT surviving... I'm kind of glad someone shares this with me.

yeah I was used to have this dream constantly, years ago, but sometimes I still get it around...
I still don't know why.... but nuclear bombs is a nightmare for all the humans... Such power being used to kill people. it's sad

Nuclear bombs have to be the worst thing that people ever thought of creating. Sure, it's pretty much there for intimidation or a quick end to a war, but the after affects are absolutely disgusting. Not only is the light so bright, but it heats up to 7000F in the blast. If anyone is within a couple miles of the blast, they're dead. Period....
Then the radiation starts.
Sometimes it's hard to sleep for me. The sound of a plane gets me every time. You just never know.

CrisVector In reply to EmmyZombie [2010-09-06 04:22:25 +0000 UTC]
yeah it's a true nightmare.... when the radiation goes everything gets lost, water, land....nothing grows anymore.... and this takes centuries to recover...
In my dreams I can even feel the heat.... but looks like I can't be killed by the bomb.... well, my body could be fragmented, but I'm still there. Anyways it's horrible .

Very well done indeed A have also encountered these horrific dreams of these bombs destroying our worlds...Though I must keep going on with my life it's possible for a accidently launch to come which I fear in my heart
Even ONE nuclear bomb can destroy this wonderful planet...In my opinion I think war, guns, bombs, and anything violet is useless for this world for it causes disillusionment which I fear will also come again
I'm so faving this ^w^ Very wonderful indeed
