Description

The fleeting creatures of Katana Lake come in many shapes and sizes, and while some flee from the cold of winter, others flourish in the new snowy environment! With the change of seasons, these critters and plants begin to reveal themselves, and its up to the cats of the 'Lake to document them!

CONTEST!
For the third week of the Kinwarming event, FT members are tasked with designing more of Katana Lake's unusual flora and fauna! As mentioned in the last contest, these critters may possess some magical properties, just like the cats, but try not to go overboard! If you're uncertain about an ability your entry has, don't be shy to ask a mod.
Some info you should include in your entry:
Physical appearance
Affects on cats/abilities (ex. poisonous or healing properties?)
Habitat (ex. primarily Kingdom or Forgottens? Found in wet or dry land?)
Relationship with cats (ex. tamable, or wild?)
Example: Fireflowers are paw-sized flowers with six bright petals that can range from cherry red to indigo. The center of this plant holds a black powdery substance ("fireflower pepper"), which when inhaled in large amounts can cause hallucinations and drowsiness.

Your critter/plant doesn't have to be winter-related, however you will earn extra points if it is, or if it has a "winter coat" (ex. snowshoe hares).

Instead of earning the typical additional 5 coins for participating, you will earn double the coins you would have originally earned by applying your art or writing to this chart . In addition to your hearty bounty of coins, you'll earn part of a badge set! Just like way back in the summer event, these are specific badges that can be collected over time to form an image.

In addition to the coins and badge, you will also receive a cute little badge of your entry, whether it does end up being accepted or not! Winners for the contest will be chosen on January 5th, and additional prizes will be discussed there as well. I look forward to seeing everyone's wild, magical, crazy beasts and berries!!!
For anyone who would still like to finish their art for the first prompt, don't worry! I'll still be accepting those for the rest of today, but for any later you should give me a heads up so you can get an extension
