You navigate the familiar streets of your home, hearing the popping and crackling of flames not far away. As night descends upon Katana Lake, the first ember of the Unity Festival is born; the fire dancing tournament! You recall as a young kit watching the flames reach high into the night sky, swirling and flashing; you had never known fire could be so many shades of orange! Burning brighter than any star, these brave cats display their skills in taming the flames!

As summer begins, as does a new event! The Unity Festival is a time to celebrate cats of every element and power! It is divided into five weeks; the first four are centered around specific elements, while the final week will conclude the festival with prizes and challenges!
To participate in this prompt, you can write or draw your character/s participating or observing the fire dancing tournament! Keep in mind they do not have to be a firecat, but being one will increase your chances of earning extra coins and a prize!
