Description
The magic of Katana Lake not only has an effect on the cats, but also the flora and fauna inhabiting the island... although, many of these mysterious plants and animals remain hidden. If you happen to come across a strange-looking fern or an animal unlike any you've ever seen before, be sure to document it!
CONTEST: Design an animal or plant inhabiting Katana Lake. They can have some magical properties, but try not to go overboard! You can include as much or as little information as you want, but the most important aspects are how the plant or animal is of use to the Kingdom and Forgottens (ex. poisonous, or with medical properties? Aggressive, or tamable?) and their physical properties.
Example: Fireflowers are paw-sized flowers with six bright petals that can range from cherry red to indigo. The center of this plant holds a black powdery substance ("fireflower pepper"), which when inhaled in large amounts can cause hallucinations and drowsiness.
There will be three winners for this contest, however more may be chosen to have their contribution become canon if it's interesting enough! All three winners will win a choice between an FT custom, a drawing of their FT character, or an animated icon of their FT character. Winners will be chosen March 1st!

Lumiere (pronounced loo-mee-urh): An animal that resembles a raccoon with the head and tail of a fox. Neon blue aura surrounds its clear body. However, it turns black when the glowing mushroom they have ingested starts to lose its effect (when it's hungry). Though they have its own language, they are capable of understanding the language of the Kingdom and the Forgottens to some extent. Some with more exceptional sense of understanding this occasionally work as a sort of a walking lamp for cats exploring the forest during nighttime when paid with glowing mushrooms. It can control its brightness, but it requires more energy to do so, and they usually keep their brightness as low as possible. Some cats have recorded a herd of lumieres emigrating, to which they explained "a beautiful sight... it was as if a stream of river was trying to conjoin itself to the night sky."

Stormflowers (Trefoil cummulus): a tameable plant that grows near bodies of water. It's petals are normally an unusual blue-grey, and it can seen curled together in a large bud. Whenever the air's humidity level/static electricity levels are at a certain point, the flower will uncurl itself, revealing a beautiful ultra-marine blue inside petal and hibiscus-like pollinators. It can be used for a variety of medicinal purposes, usually to clear out sinuses and to calm headaches. When brewed correctly, it can be used for a dangerous elixir known as Multum Tonitrua. It can be bred with different flowers of the same genus to create stormflowers with indigo, orange, or rarely white petals.
