WOW! this marks the END of Where the Sun Rises. yipee!

So I wanna talk for a bit about it. WTSR was never meant to be perfect.. and by no means is it. I came up with the idea lying in bed one day, like 3 years ago probably, reading a warriors book. I don't remember which one it was but it was from Dovewing's perspective. It said something along the lines of, "she dodged and was a whisker away from having her throat slashed."
and I thought. What the hell would have happened if she hadn't dodged!!?? So I went to my computer & wrote a half-baked idea... WTSR has changed a lot since then. Originally blackbird was just some background character who coincidentally looked like bluenose. There was a whole plot where Bluenose was training Honeypaw to take on Silentstep in a battle. It was crazy.
But yeah anyway. WTSR wasn't made to be perfect. It has a lot of flaws, like a lot. But I kept working through it because this was a story I wanted to tell, I really enjoyed writing the characters and seeing how people reacted to the twists and turns of it. Honestly I'm just so happy that I actually finished it, because as a kid I always wanted to make a comic that people would read and enjoy and have it meet an ending.

Umm I think that's all I wanted to say about that for right now. I wanted to include some random facts abt WTSR. So.

- On page 44 I wrote 'there are a lot of reasons why he's upset' because I could list them in my head but I wanted to leave it vague. I wanted the reader to fill in the blanks. Of course I don't think its ok that he snapped at a child about it LOL but just. here's what I'm thinkin.
bluenose never got the chance to live the rest of his life, now he's dead and his only means of communicating with the living world is through an apprentice he doesn't even know and who probably doesn't even like him
he also never got the chance to rely on somebody else like honeypaw does

- on page 24 i also didn't really mention this explicitly but nobody showed up to bluenoses vigil except for silentstep and rosewing lol. i was trying to communicate that nobody actually likes bluenose, because he's a jackass

- i don't wanna spoil too much since im thinking of making a sort of continuation to WTSR (i'll go into detail abt that below) but after the events of the story Honeypaw decides to start training as a warrior. She lost her sense of hearing completely.

- i imagine bluenose & silentstep having more of a best friend/sibling sort of relationship but its never explicitly covered in the story. i don't mind when people ship them

- blackbird is in the dark forest if anyone was curious.

i might update this later these are just the ones that immediately came to mind.

so. What lies in the future for WTSR? I've kind of been thinking of making minicomics detailing the lives of specific wtsr characters, some taking place before or after the events of the comic. I know for sure I want to do one about Silentstep and one about Featherstar, I'm still contemplating on others.
Other than that, I don't think I wanna pursue any more Warriors content lol. So if I ever was to start another full comic it would probably be something original.
ALSO... There is a WTSR dub in the making!! It's run by o-fuk and auditions are still open , until January I believe!! So come join that! You can also check out our discord server and chat with other wtsr fans

Also you can probably see I opened critiques, you can leave some feedback on this page, previous pages or the comic as a whole! I wanna hear what people think and what I could improve on in the future. Also keep in mind that I'm not artistically pleased with any of the pages before 50 and the 20 pages after that are on THIN ICE.

i wanna thank everybody who read wtsr and everyone who will read wtsr in the future. im just so happy that people like my dumb cat fanfiction. THANK YOU EVERYBODY I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
