Five Faces of Darkness is (very easily) the best episode of Season 3. Well, it's actually five episodes (technically speaking), but you get the point.

i have to disagree on that. I love a lot of S3 except for I think it was called Carnage in C Minor? The one with the singing aliens. Complete garbage.

Well, I'm glad that you like Season 3 better than most of the fandom do. A like most of the Season 3 episodes too, but Five Faces of Darkness is one of my favourite episodes. I know that this sounds embarrassing and pretty ridiculous but I liked Carnage in C Minor because Soundwave (who is my favourite Transformer) was in it. But, barring that, the episode was obviously a big mess; the singing aliens were annoying and it had the worst animation in the entire show.

Most fans are obsessed with Optimus Prime. I think he's too perfect of a character. Jesus and John Wayne wrapped up in a bad ass truck. I like my characters flawed, season 3 had a lot of character moments.

Personally, G1 Optimus Prime is my second favourite Transformer after Soundwave. What's your favourite Season 3 episode?

Call of the Primitives had such fantastic animation. In fact, it was the best animated episode of the entire show. Tokyo Movie was rumoured to have animated that episode.
