Yes it is! I trying to take a picture of her, as I noticed her boss was getting a stick for her to retrieve, and the expression changed to this cute face in an instant! I reminded me of that dog in that movie 'over the edge'... "PLAY?!"

Haha! I've never seen it, but I'm sure it's exactly the way you've described it. I know that cats act different from dogs, but for the most part, they get really excited, too.
