The large spider paused in its work, climbing slowly up Laodice's body as the princess giggled helplessly from the ticklish feeling of its legs. Lifting one foreleg, the spider gave her muzzle what might have been a comforting caress before wrapping another strand of web around her muzzle.

Athena chuckled from where she at watching. "Have no fear, Daughter of Priam. Arachne's skill is unmatched. I promise you will leave her company a true master of the loom. As to your condition... well. You cannot blame her for wanting to keep you quiet and attentive for her lesson."

As her body became more and more restrained, the vixen couldn't help but regret her rather impulsive decision. Cassandra's warning had been right after all. Asking to learn weaving from a goddess had been nothing but trouble.
