This.was.total.madness! X'D(full view please? XD)
Honestly, I spend almost every free minute for 5 days on this piece - that is the most detailed I've done in AGES!
Also, unlike all the aceo cards I love to do, this is A4. Full page A4 done with colored pencils, of all the nasty little f*ckers that take hours just to complete a little portion of the picture if you want it to look decent and make your hand hurt like hell. X'D
But I love this piece to death and I am VERY proud of it.
So any flames like 'woooth, why r u watching zexal that's like totally sh*t n stuff' will be ignored.
Yes, I watch zexal, yes I like watching it even if it's not as good as DM or 5Ds, but I like it because it's different even though the story is pretty much all a new version of DM.
So bugger off, thank you very much. :'D
And YES PLEASE, I'm watching the japanese version. Stupid namechanging with the english version again ... shoo!

They really remind me of humanlized versions of Piper and Blackjack from Piper at the Gates personality wise. Yet who would be humanlized Hank (Blackjack's second in command) LOL

Love all the amazing details especially with colored pencils and the colors blend so beautifully and seamlessly. I love the folds and the way you have Shark's coat tails blend into the background. The gray sharks in the background are also a really nice touch 
Anyway I agree Zexal really deserves more credit than it has been dealt with. I personally ADORE zexal but yeah LOVE this piece TO BITS. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

its quite beautiful. I wish people gave Zexal more of a chance, because it's actually a really good series...true it starts off slow, but it's getting really good.
Honestly this is just... it makes me all giddy, because it's drawn and colored wonderfully.

My heart goes out to you. I haven't used colored pencils in ages, but I know what you mean. Colored pencils (whether layering or burnishing) hurt your hands like nothing else. The results are always rewarding though, and this is no exception. The detail and smooth layering are wonderful! Very nicely done.
