been working on this off and on for a while. in whatever free time i had. its a quick digi-ink job as well. but overall not too bad.Related content

Pencilling work mainly. Working on new submission pages tonight actually. Goal is to have them done this week and send them out to editors by the end of the month.

that really depends on what type of comic you want to work on. or have the chance to work on. i'd say send to editors whose books you're naturally drawn to anyway. use their characters. everything else is dependent on your ability. but you want to make sure you're trying for people you'd be happy with. would suck to get a book but loathe it

For right now, I mainly just wish to find work pencilling comic books. I can draw any style of book, from Superhero to fantasy, they each hold their own appeal. I know who I DONT want to work for, now I just need to send out more samples.
I have had some nice corrispondence with DC and Marvel, nothing from IDW or Dark Horse, but I'll keep trying. Aspen seems to be expanding a bit and I may try them too.

well definitely target the editors and companies you've had good correspondences from. focus mainly on them and any others mildly. gotta work what connections you have

Are you working with Aspen pretty regularly now? Any other editors that you're talking to?
Networking is something I need to restrengthen myself in. I took a step back from my internet schmoozing to focus on just creating, and now coming back in, even talking at shows can feel a bit foreign. I'll do my best and hope that my work will pick up where I might drop the ball.

yeah working aspen pretty regularly right now. i had spoken with IDW's editor last sdcc, but then i got started with Assassins.
yeah networking is something you cant really let yourself totally let slip. even when you're doing your own stuff, its best to keep in touch
