Description
"I really hate this body of mine..."This is a bit of a personal piece. For those that don't know, I have PCOS, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Basically it means my uterus is broken, in simplest terms. By broken I mean, I am infertile, with dead cells sitting in my uterus waiting for the day they can form a cyst or worse, cancer. I cannot have children because of it. But by chance I do get pregnant, my life will be in severe danger as well as the babies.
So I've already resigned to adoption because of it, just it makes me sad to know I will never have a real blood connection to the future...

I know this was posted quite a while back. But, I have PCOS as well. I got it from my grandmother on my father's side. What I was informed that it would not be impossible to have kids just harder then normal. My grandmother went on to have 4 children, which included my father. I know learning that you have a condition is scary; especially when you are young (I was diagnosed at 16 I am now 17), but don't lose hope. Life is still full of surprises, and you may still have a kid. Just let life carry you, because you will meet others to love and that support you. That is life's real joy.

Im really sorry about that, hun...to know that you have that condition is heart breaking...I really hope everything works out okay in the end for you, and that you don't get any cysts or cancerous tumors or anything of the like.
Stay strong. v_v

I also have this condition. First getting the news that you have it it's like the world collapses in on you.

Not well really, I haven't come to terms with it. I'm still unrealistically hoping that some day it will just vanish. Never had anyone to talk to about this. As far as I know I'm the only one in my family that has it.

I know that feeling, i'm kind of the same way. I keep hoping that the doctor gave me the wrong results. You can always talk to me if that helps. I mean I'm in a similar situation, no one in my family has it so when i try and talk about it everyone wants to treat it as something else.
