While Kei is the typical average schoolgirl who is into boys and clothes, she also reluctantly accompanies Sakura on her quest to become the greatest Street Fighter. Her grades in school are mostly average, but she possesses a eidetic memory, never forgeting the face and name of a person she has met. As a hobby, she likes to collect merchandise related to octopus-like aliens, so the appearance of a Symbiote in her life, wasn’t as harrowing for her as it was to both Peter Parker and Eddie Brock.

Kei is a bit sarcastic and ironic, and though she often ends up in trouble due to Sakura's misbehaviors, she supports her nonetheless. During the events of Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter II Fanfiction, she was searching her friend Sakura who was the prime witness of a crime. Deadpool helped both Sakura and Kei fending off the real culprit, Necalli. She, grateful, asked Wade to join Deadpool Inc. Deadpool accepts her and gives her a Deadpool Technovore-like morpher.

During a botched mission against LifePharma Foundation (MvC amalgamation between Wilpharma and Life Foundation) she came in contact with the Agony Symbiote. Agony offered her what she ever wanted.... to be like Sakura and try to win either Deadpool and Sakura’s heart.
