I really don't know what to say except that this is definately a very emotional piece. Just something about it, and I love that you added that Bible verse. It really adds to the whole feeling that eminates from this beautiful work..I think SandieBlair said it all. All that's left to say is instant fav!

Well, I will try to describe why I love this, since you asked!
First of all, I like your color choice. Purple always reminds me of royalty and this picture is the picture of a King.
I love the way that it makes me feel. It is such an emotional piece. I think of verses in the song How Many Kings.
"How many kings, stepped down from their thrones?
How many lords have abandoned their homes?
How many greats have become the least for me?
How many Gods have poured out their hearts
To romance a world that has torn all apart?
How many fathers gave up their sons for me?
Only one did that for me"
I like the way that the feet are placed in such a way, that they could be imagined both as hanging from a cross, and walking away from a tomb. Both of which He did. The background of it also helps to achieve that look.
I love the title too. It's perfect. The bible verse added to it makes the piece speak to me and remind me that this is a picture that I should keep in my mind every day, so I can remember to share the Good News with others.
"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the Messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!" ♥

Thank you so much for taking the time to share in detail what this painting means for you. I went with purple as a natural artistic choice, completely forgetting the symbolism of the colour. (Thanks for reminding me!)
I youtubed that song, and it's excellent.
Again, thank you for your thoughtful comment! I'm happy it speaks to you.
