Description Scanner did I better job than I expected, only the extra shading on Stingmon turned out pretty...horrible...but it does add to the ruggedness of an underground assassin, I guess...

MetalGarurumon woke up with a start at the noise of movement in the dark, damp yard. As a guard dog, small noises such as this would disturb his sleep lest it should be a true invader. He glanced back upward at the mansion he was guarding--the home of a very wealthy Digimon family, housing PrinceMamemon himself! It was his job to protect it.

Another rustle snapped his head back to the bushy yard, half-abundant with foliage. He narrowed his eyes, and prowled back and forth, waiting for the committee to come out.

It soon did, but only as a wild Viximon, prancing about in its own little squirrelly world. MetalGarurumon relaxed just a bit, still keeping his eyes on the yard.

Something flashed out there, and the metal wolf tensed up again, growling deeply as a warning. The little Viximon, who had excellent hearing, heard the growl, squeaked quietly, and bounced off. Carefully he scanned the peaceful night, looking for any other sign of an intruder. He glanced up into a large tree, and saw it.

Two ruby eyes, devoid of pupils, stared down at him from the tree. Baring his teeth, MetalGarurumon barked viciously, hoping to either scare the Digimon away or lure him in for a fight.

And lure it he did. With dark, unimaginable speed a Stingmon launched himself from the shadows, eyes gleaming as he aimed himself at the guard dog. Without even thinking, MetalGarurumon reacted instantly, calling upon his power of ice.

A beam of freezing cold energy shot from his mouth, aimed at Stingmon. He swerved instantly, narrowly missing the primary force of the beam, but catching the outer skirts of it, the freezing cold air surrounding the center. One of his crimson eyes flinched, but it didn't slow down his kamikaze speed whatsoever. From his right gauntlet, a short purple beam emerged as a straight blade, and Stingmon swung it forth, ready to use it when it was needed.

MetalGarurumon leaped, clashing with Stingmon in mid-air. Surely such a low evolution form could not stand against a Mega?

But he had underestimated the skilled insectoid, and soon realized they were the perfect match for each other, and it seemed like neither could be bested...that is, before he revealed his secret weapon. But before he could even prepare for it, Stingmon struck up a conversation, speaking in a slow, calm voice like that of a gentleman.

"You fight well, wolf. Must have been the years of training you undertook,"

"Shut your mouth, you invader!" MetalGarurumon snapped in reply, getting quite tired of this fight. Stingmon shook his head as he swung his left hand forward, finger blades shining with purple reflections of his blade.

"Must we be so apathetic if we are so much alike? I do not even have a noticeable mouth to close as is,"

MetalGarurumon dropped to the ground, deciding that a quick conversation may prove to be useful, as long as he kept the insect occupied.

"What are you here for?"

"An underground guild, if you will. I am an assassin, sent here to end the tyranny of PrinceMamemon once and for all."

MetalGarurumon snarled, "You lie! The Prince is far from tyrant!"

"You dog...," Stingmon said, barely covering the overflowing amount of eagerness to seethe, "You pet. You have never stepped outside the grounds once, have you? You have no comprehension of your so-called 'rince's' evil."

MetalGarurumon stopped and stared into Stingmon's eyes, seeing more of his soul than he needed. It didn't frighten him, it just made him wonder...

Cries and screams from within the mansion split the rest of the peacefulness, and MetalGarurumon swung around, agape in horror. Stingmon was quiet behind him, flying back up into the tree. Before MetalGarurumon could rush in, the top floor of the mansion exploded with a resounding call of a BlackRapidmon's special attack. Trembling at his failure, he turned around to see Stingmon, who would have been smiling if he had a mouth.

"I'm not a fool, wolf, I was merely a diversion,"

MetalGarurumon couldn't find a reply.

"You, wolf, though naive, you may come of use. Your fighting skills are unheard of, you did all of that without making one sound. We need one like you. If you are ever interested, come find me. It shouldn't be that hard. Now, wolf...," Stingmon concluded, glancing up at the sky to see the subtle form of BlackRapidmon hovering above, "My job is complete."

And with that, he dashed out from the trees, soaring into the sky with the almost-silent hum of his wings beating together, fleeing with BlackRapidmon into the night, leaving MetalGarurumon to stand there, contemplating his stance in this world as the fires from the house glittered on his shined blue armor.

~~~
Did NOT have good references for MetalGarurumon, saying that out loud right away.
Why was Stingmon the assassin? Because my DS literally said so. Not in that way, but it said so.
Also, PrinceMamemon smells like cheese mold. (The Mamemon family has never, ever, impressed me)
