I really like how this turned out...even though the colors went all crazy when I saved it. It's one of the best drawings that I've done in a while (actually, I haven't drawn anything at all lately...which is sad..)It's Meroko from Full Moon wo Sagashite. Awesome anime. I recommend watching it.
Done with both tablet and mouse.

heehee, meroko. I may try watching the anime again, but I LOVED the fullmoon saga manga so much 9MUCH better, i recommend it), and alot of changes dissappointed me......*for example, its TOO happy, whereas the manga was more unique and bittersweet, mitsuki NEVER had friends at school, making her more lonely*
I dunno, the anime just turned me off, but i am curious as to how they end it, so i may consider watching it again. It does have one good point though: you can actually hear the songs.......

Did you use a particular computer art program to do this? Like photoshop or something? I really like the way it turned out and I'm kind of hoping to do similar type work. I use Paint Shop Pro 6 for all my works. I'm not as great at CG'ing as other people, but I hope to master PSP6 someday and do some great art. For now, I scan in my pics and make a new layer in PSP6 where I paint over the lines black and color/shade from there.
