Holy crap.
The first thing that struck me was Kurt's facial expression. It's so complex -- seems to me a good deal of frustration mixed with some anger and, perhaps, the beginnings of despair. However, the rest of his body language suggests he's not through fighting out of his predicament yet -- praying, gathering strength for an attempt at teleporting, a little of both...? Very powerful stuff.
Well done with the use of texture, light, and shadow. The effort put into the anatomical detail is obvious; I feel as though I could reach out and touch him, the overall effect is so convincing. This is absolutely one of the best fan-art pieces I've ever seen.
