I love the effects with the brushes you used but I agree with I would have used a slightly darker blue for the black lines and gradually faded them out to make them more subtle. Otherwise, great use of simplicity.

Hmm nice simple and effective. good one- the only thing that bugs me slightly are those black lines intertwined with the white ones. mess up the flow slightly.
