Darion did not need as much of an overhaul as Lavvy, but I still wanted to unify his design more with his counterparts. Darion is all about fear. Shadow magic and illusions are his forte. He "haunts" a long abandoned lighthouse, and many adventurers have met their doom seeking to "exorcise" the ghosts living there. After meeting Lavvy however, Darion's more unsavory tendencies towards humans have been mostly quelled. He now keeps the light on during foggy nights, and seeks to ward off strangers instead of mortally wounding them.Darion cannot stand GB, but avoids outright confrontation with her for Lavvy's sake. Also, while powerful, Darion's strength is in illusions and mind-tricks, which cannot stand up against GB's vast chaos magic in a straight-up fight.

Young Crewman: Hey Captain what's with that old lighthouse over there?
Captain: You best be staying away from that light. It was closed some time back once shipping lanes changed, but they say a dark spirit made the place it's domain. Many brave men went there to clear the spirit out and they all met grisly fates. They say anyone foolish enough to set foot on the island will die, and should they manage to escape; their ship and all their gear will be bewitched and unuseable. I knew a guy that went there not believing the tales, they found him in a rowboat and his black hair was white as these sails. He's at the asylum now babbling about shadows that move on their own.

It would make sense that sea captains would tell it like a ghost story.
