Asa: Ah, if you're going to try for a jaw breaker, I'd definitely recommend those. Hard enough that you'll be sucking on it for ages and sweet enough that by the end of it you'll have enough cavities for each tooth and then some. ANYHOOO... I am in love with Asa Sweet. Don't make fun of me or I'll kill you. >:C Anyhoo, he makes me smile, and I seem to have an attachment to older men who're capable of doing that. He's wriggling his way up to be my faaavorite.
But then, you know, Viktor'll pop up again and I'll be all 8D and retarded, but for now <3 Asa. *laughs*

Um... wow, several hours, I'm sure. Sketch was quick, but maybe 2 hours for inking because I was going crazy with getting it right, and then the background took me way long. I dunno.

Well, I SUCK at backgrounds. *laughs* That's one of the main reasons. I couldn't sleep last night so I spent like.. 4 hours on that? I'm trying to remember >.< The inking took a long time because Mordecai's face was so messed up in the original sketch and I had to redraw Asa's position several times.
And yup! I'm mortal. I told you that already >.< *laughs*

Haha, I know this probably doesn't seem as good a thing to you than it is for me, but it kinda makes me feel better when I know the headache behind the masterpiece. I don't feel so, alone I guess, especially for a skilled artist such as yourself.
