It is very sad when someone who isn't Paul McCartney made me fall in love with Paul McCartney XDDDI went to see RAIN, the Beatles Tribute, in LA yesterday and I was just really struck. It was beautiful. Let it be was the second to last song that they played (during "encore"), and I just thought, man, I wish I could've actually seen the Beatles play it like this, but I guess I got the next best thing. Just moving and beautiful.
Anyway, long story short, I am now somehow in love with the Beatle who I liked less than the others, and blame it on the person who pretended to be him. Weird huh?

And how lucky you got to see RAIN!!! I remember hearing about them three years ago and I still haven't seen them... mostly because they tour everywhere else for such a long time they don't come back 'round to America until, like, a year and a half later.
But hey, being friends with/the unofficial official roadie for a tribute band ain't too shabby, so I'm not complaining.

Beatles is something that will forever live on in our hearts. they are one of the few cases where you love them or you hate them. there's no in between. and its a very rare occation when u find someone who outright hates them. im one of those ppl that used to listen to them sooooooooo much groing up that i cant hardly stand listening to them anymore. BUT I STILL LOVE THEM! T^T

I saw Rain in in San Francisco and it was so amazing! It was great to actually feel the music if you know what I mean. Plus they were hilarious! Then again if your portraying the beatles and aren't hilarious your not doing a very good job...
As for the picture, hon, it's beautiful! I love the way you draw Paulie! Or rather "that guy who dresses up like paul" but either way it's stunning. I also very much like the two beatles in the background. Make me laugh teehee!

I know exactly how you feel. I saw them in Boston two months ago and AKJFLSDF I think there are a few Pauls, but the one at that show was fffffffff breathtaking. I like Paul more now too hahahahjajaja

To this day I couldn't give you a decent, thought-out reason why Paul is my favourite out of 'em. I certainly don't think he's the most talented of the four. Although, maybe that makes me sympathize with 'im more. No matter where he goes, he's in a couple of big damn shadows.

Beautiful picture - that and your little story got me. I remember I saw RAIN with my dad when it came to my city, and I just remember being in such a state of excitement - they were so fantastic...and I was really,really moved by it too. I remember telling my dad "that's as close as I'll get to seeing and hearing the Beatles as they were meant to be..." It was such a powerful experience, and it made me fall even more in love with the Beatles then I was, which is saying something.

I guess, it's KIIIINDA like that, but it's the person, not the music. XD I always loved the Beatles, it's the thought that someone pretending to be Paul got me to appreciate Paul McCartney. It's not so much an introduction as a reintroduction or a reimagining. You know?
