Some anatomy practice. I plan to do another one with only frontal views.The sketches to the right were made by using the 30-second pose feature over at posemaniacs, and then I used my anatomy books to try to fill in the muscles with pencil to the left.
I know that I probably messed up everywhere, and I probably made up some muscles that doesn't exist. It was still fun to do this.
I'm going to focus on hands, feet and faces later. These drawings were a bit too small to handle small details.

Regardless of existential credibility, those muscles are looking brilliant.

I think that the arms are the areas where I mess up the most. /= I don't understand how all the muscles are attached there.
Doing this exercise, I really wish that I had the opportunity to go to life drawing classes. /=

*nods* I hear they have sort of 'open' croquis-sessions in some art schools. Dunno if they have it around where you live, though...

I\'d love to take life-drawing classes. But I haven\'t found anything like that here - not in my county, anyway. We don\'t have any local art schools. From 10th through 12th grade, we had 3 serious croquis lessons [i]in total[/i], because it\'s pretty much impossible to get people to pose nude here. D= -sigh- I wish I lived in a big city right about now.

/= Well, when you live in a small community with less than 20k people in the whole county, pretty much anything that is larger is superior in so many ways. -sigh- I miss MalmΓΆ so much. XD;
True. But I do feel old when I go over to conceptart. D= So many talented people there who are younger than I am. u_u;;
