probaly my all-time fave nintendo game. added some extra details that werent on the reference, hair strands, textures and some extra background to fill the paper.A4. mech pencil .3 & .5 H, HB, 2B, woodern pencil H, 2B, 4B, 8B, eraser, tortillons. Hrs? maybe 20- 25.

I love your dedication to do something so perfect. Sitting for 20 hours on something must be damn hard. I have great difficulty with tonal drawings. I think you capture light and dark elements very well. I looove the way the sun in shining in. The place looks so calm.

Cool! I like the well balanced composition with the figure filling the page with these interesting angles. The tree mimicking the figures angle in the background is a nice reinforcement there. Your proportions look good, although, admittedly, i do not run into many elves. You have a great range of values here. And good use of value changes to show the planes and contours of the body, fabrics and shield. It's a sterling piece of work!

first off, Zelda is amazing
and tortillions are the best way I've found to shade so far. I like how the eyes were done in this picture. In some other refs I've seen, his eyes were really strange xD

I would say tissue is better for larger areas. But If you arent perfect about it when doing small spaces, I know I would screw up pretty bad D: you're welcome!
