Description
Behold! The promised Ehnti Reference sheet!I've actually been working very hard on developing Ehntis as a species, though the way I explain it may or may not be comprehensable.
**PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE CREATING YOUR OWN***
Note before reading: All Rare and Very Rare traits may only be obtained through myself through purchase(with the exclusion of deformed gems which follow one very specific strict rule, but is free to use). Common traits are completely free to use. The very top left ehnti is the best example of a common ehnti
Ehnti's are VERY colorful and very closely related to deer but have fur density more similar to a husky and very thick tail fur which changes color depending on an individuals intelligence level
PHYSICAL FEATURES-
Head: Very deer like muzzle, large, glossy eyes with no visible pupils, folded in ears(each ear must be a different color), Single oval shaped gem on head, tuft of fur atop head
*gem explanation* Gems are extremely important for an ehnti's way of life and are used to harness and control magic. Deformed gems cannot use magic while horned ehntis have an increased ability in magic
Body: roundish, sturdy body, curly underbelly fur
Tail: Varies in tail length, but is commonly very long and is always extremely thick regardless of length.
**Tail pattern explanation**
All ehntis are born with plain, single colored tails that change in complexity the more an ehnti learns about controlling their magic and about the world around them The amount of complexity an ehnti's tail can achieve depends on the elements they are able to control.(a link explaining the elements will be posted soon) With each level of magic, they are able to achieve a higher maximum complexity. The most Complex tails have no pattern, but instead are a blend of colors and are refered to as galaxy tails. This feature is almost exclusively found in tribe elders. When a tail changes pattern, the new pattern can be seen fading into the old one. This happens quite often as ehnti's are very reliant on their powers and often learn more about their power though this constant practice.
Feet/Legs: thick, sturdy legs. Hard, rounded hooves
***other note***: babies are born completely white and develop colors later in life

Magic Is extremely important to ehntis. Information can be found here: crussofang.deviantart.com/art/…

Habitat: Ehintis live mostly in a taiga biome but can also be found in tundra biomes
Culture - I will have more information about their culture later, but for now I will just put information about social status and ranks
***A group of ehntis is called a tribe**
Fawn: These are baby Ehntis. Fawn usually have little coloring until their first or second year and are completely white when they are first born. Up to two ehntis are ussually born to a mother.
Disabled: This group consists of Ehnti's who have some sort of disability which prevents them from becoming students or workers. These disabilities range from physical disabilities, Deformities, or mental disabilities. Disabled ehntis are often abandoned by their mother at birth or once their disability is discovered. An Abandonded fawn may sometimes be taken in and raised by another ehnti.
Those who are not abandoned often never leave their parents care and are most often not able to find mates. Those who do find mates, leave their parents care are cared for and supported by their mates.
Student
Worker: Once an Ehnti has graduated, they will often become a worker within their tribe. Workers are in charge of all sorts of tasks which are dependent on where a Master Elder or tribe leader has employed them. Some tasks include building dens, foraging for food, collecting supplies, ect.
Caretaker: Caretakers are most often mothers who are taking care of fawn or their disabled offspring. Caretakers and their offspring are often supported by their mate who is usually a worker. The father may sometimes take over their mates job and become a caretaker once a fawn has been weaned.
Teacher: These ehntis are masters of whatever elements they have learned and have chosen to pass their knowledge onto students.
Elder: An elder is a very old ehnti. All elders are greatly respected and looked to for wisdom. to be classified as an elder, an Ehnti must be at least 35 to be considered an elder
***Ehntis do not have any form of currency, instead the entire tribe does their part to assure that everyone has what they need***
Scholar: While Scholars fall into the student category, they are much more devoted to learning than other ehntis and can spend their entire lives seeking a higher education. Scholars learning ranges are not just exclusive to magic. Some also strive to learn the workings of the world around them in order to better the lives of other tribe members
Master: A master is an ehnti who has mastered every element there is to learn. Masters can be found among all categories working level or higher.
*levels master and higher have galaxy tails****
Master Elder: Master elders are the second highest rank an ehnti can achieve. Master elders, as their name suggests, are elders who have achieved a master status. They are often in charge of keeping things in order and are advisors to a tribes Leader.
Tribe Leader: Tribe leader is the single most Important rank any ehnti can achieve and is only held by one ehnti in each clan. The tribe leader is in charge of making sure all tasks within the tribe are performed and that all are fed, healing, decision making, and protecting the tribe from danger. Those who are chosen by the leader to succeed them are always either master rank or those who plan to achieve master rank status. If the leader dies before a new leader is chosen or before the to-be leader acheives master status, the master elders will decide the next leader.
**All ehntis of master status and higher are also in charge of healing along side what other job they may have. If healers are urgently needed, the master elders or trube leader may call in as many master ranks as needed***
If you have any other questions or would like approval for your ehnti(it is not required but it is appreciated) please let me know.
Please remember that all traits that are not common (excluding deformed gems) must be payed for Each extra trait is about 10 points each for rare traits and 15 for super rare traits
