Yes, they do need jobs, like main chars.
If they are a child they can be a "worker" or depending on their age have an actual occupation. It's okay to have none, if they would be really too young for that.

I have my picture of my Pokimono all ready, but I can not use the application form because my computer is old and cannot do that sort of thing anymore. Would it be alright if I sent in her picture and description without using the form as a base?

No, sorry. You have to use the template to apply for the group. There will be no exception.
You could ask a friend to put your character on the template. :]

well, I downloaded it on my google chrome, when I looked at the file the type it was was Notepad

The downloadable file is a .rar. You can open it with winRAR or similar programs. I don't use Chrome, so I unfortunately can't help there.

For NPCs do we still fill out information for their history, personality, likes, dislikes and ect?
Can the NPC play a part in our characters history?

They SHOULD play a part in your character's history. It's stated in the rules that they shall have a relationship to your main char.

actually you can change her outfit whenever you want so if you wanted to do this when you revise your app you're more than welcome to
