Description
I love slightly modified old cars... Ones that keep their form but clean up the minor details. This Chev has (I think) a custom front bumper, and has had detailling simplified (and modern door handles). Sadly I can't take credit for the design. This one took maybe 6 hours to make I think?

Hello.
I like too much !
I'm in search with many designs about very sexy (no vulgarity) pinups on route 66 cars, cadillacs and pickups...
Can we talk about it ?
Thanks

The front bumper appears to be somewhat custom, the origional would have had those pusher jut-out things on it.

Beautiful. The rims are also different than what would be on a factory stock BelAir, but at least they're nice. Too bad theres no hood ornaments though. Gotta have that bow tie, lol... '55 chevy Bel Air is my favrit car, and so this must go ion the faves... and on the wishlist....

That looks very nice. I like your choice of colours on the front bumper to give a chrome effect - I would have never thought of that...!

It is a bluntant request but I really want to incorporate this car in the final project for my vector class... It would be a mucha's drawing incorporated in an old-car advertisement. Of course for the class project I cannot use other people's vector drawings and I'd have to do it in vector by myself. So I am here asking whether you still have the photo you based on while doing this car? And if so, can you post the photo anywhere so that I can take a look? Sorry for asking for so much but I really like it --- both your vector drawing and the design of the car itself, and I do want to have a try! Thanks a lot anyway...

Never mind... Thanks for the prompt reply though... I'll go through a couple of modified old car photos to see if I can find something similar... Good work of yours on this! ^_^

Homina Homina....that is sexy! I grew up around old cars since my dad had a hobby of restoration. He was a Studebaker and Packard guy. I love the 55 Chevy, more than the 57 by a long shot. You ever do a Studebaker & I will love you forever!
Well, love is a such a strong word...how about just really like?

I will probably do a Hawk at some point... The 55 is my favourite Chevy I think. IMO they ruined it in 56 when they took off the Ferrari-esque egg-crate grille. The '57 was too excessive for me.

I had a friends father who did too - he had a 57 4 door hardtop, a 56 Nomad, a 55 4 door hardtop and a 58 Chev truck (one after another). I love old cars...
