Jeez Craig, your work is so clean and tidy. My wireframes look like a spiders web on LSD. That is awesome....something to aspire too!

Yeah - I do a lot of clipping. Helps prevent accidental selections.

You must do a tutorial on your blending techniques and anything else you want to do a tutorial on really! I found a tutorial of yours by accident while browsing but I have never been able to find it again since.

Thanks Craig, I found it eventually. I would love to get my drawing as tidy as yours if it were possible! I use a lot of clipping masks over mesh objects and the outline image is usually ....er .....a bit like a spiders web on LSD

sorry for the late reply...
I only have this one right now. I should do another later though including object blends and blending modes...

The sad thing is that I see creating vectors is so difficult, yet they dont have the respect of being Art today.

I dont understand. I have never seen anything like this before. Man jow did you make those lines for the shadpw of the car... and that area on the left side of the number plate? Is it humanly possible.....

Not exactly humanly possible... The blend tool.

Wow that's a clean wire frame. Mine are a mess from stacking objects.

nice idea to post this!
Simpler then i tough. So your shading are made from diferent shape assembled ?

I'm going to try I think... One geared toward working with transparencies (or how I use them anyway).

Yes and no... Some of the more round features I use the ellipse tool. For the basis of the rims, and the tires (although the tires aren't perfectly round so I edit them). Well - I suppose the rims portions are editted too in that they have to be rotated and stretched, but they're still an ellipse in shape. And I used a modified ellipse for the basis of the Corvette's taillights.
This is using a mouse too, but I think it would be hard to use a tablet for this kinda of thing. It's not really all that freehand.

I must say, I'm totally clueless when it comes to the vector-based stuff.
What process do you go through to achive your final image (The Z06 which rocks BTW...)?
