I know that he is radioactive, but in this he is not.

Smoke, fire, blood, bits of building fell from the sky.

Your body laid crimpled under lays of building that the creature collapsed on you, blood trickled down the side of your mouth and tangled into your hair.

Loud and heavy pair of feet slowly made their way towards your crimpled figure, fear collected what was left of your body as the feet grew closer.

Closing your eyes, you prayed to God himself, hoping that he would maybe help you in some way, to hopefully make the creature not notice your body and just go over.

As the feet came to a halting stop by your figure, your breath hitched in your throat, only for the thousands of pounds to lift off of your body.

Gasping in a deep breath of air, coughing roughly at the end of your inhale, blood coming up with your coughing as you tilted your body to the side, allowing the blood to land on the ground.

Finally catching your breath, a huge gust of wind cascaded over your body, making your hair and clothes dance in the breeze.

Slowly lifting your head up, eyes taking in the creature that pried the building piece off of you, it was nobody but Godzilla himself.

He was crouched down slightly so he could take the building piece off of you, his eyes held worry and concern.

Godzilla placed the building piece besides him, carefully placing his hand outstretched besides you.

Taking a deep breath, you grabbed onto one of his scales, forcefully pulling your body onto his rough hand with every ounce of strength you had, with a little bit of a finger boost from Godzilla.

Laying on your back in the palm of his hand, he brought you up to his eye, a faint smile on your lips as you slowly lifted yourself up into a sitting position, your arms hugging your knees into your bloody chest.

"Thank you, Godzilla."

He huffed air out of his nose as a 'You're welcome.', you scooted closer to his scratched up face, stretching your hand out to his face.

His orange eye scanned your hand and face, looking for any trace of harm. Scenting no harm, he carefully leaned his head down just enough for your little hand to touch his face.

He could feel your warm little touch to his cold rough face, he closed his orange eye, purring in delight under your touch.

Soft giggled escaped your lips, the rough texture of his face under your hand.

Suddenly a loud scream filled the air, Godzilla's eyes snapped open to see the male creature flying his way with his mouth open, ready to dig his teeth into Godzilla's neck.

Godzilla carefully placed you on a building opening as he battled the male creature, ending with Godzilla snapping his tail into the creature, impaling it into the building side.

Before Godzilla could turn around to you, the building that he hit the creature in slowly came down ontop of him.

"No!"

You outstretched your bloody hand to him, watching his giant figure crash down on him.

Warm tears rolled down your face, you had to find a way out and off of this building. Finally finding an escape, you quickly made your way out only to watch Godzilla fine his blue fire breath at the female monster.

Blocking your eyes from the blinding light, rough hands grabbed your arms, making you yelp.

"Ma'am, what are you doing here?! You should be--"

"He saved my life!"

You shouted while pointing at Godzilla, the soldiers looked confused, a huge monster saved a mortals life? Shrugging their shoulders, they helped you to safety, well at least they thought it was.

the bridge that they were crossing, with you in their hands, was rudely crushed by the female crushing it down with her tiny arms.

Screaming as your body fell into the salty water, your body screaming in pain as the water seeped into your open wounds.

Before the female creature could grab the last radioactive cylinder, Godzilla sunk his teeth into her neck, opening her mouth with his claws, and blasted blue fire into her throat, burning her body off of her head.

He threw back his head and let out a battle war cry, letting everyone know that he has won the battle.

His eyes snapped open to hear a faint sound of someone coughing and splashing around in the water, he looked down to see you splashing around in the water.

Throwing down the females head, he scooped you up in his hand, letting you cough up the water that filled its way into your lungs.

His body ached and screamed in pain from the beating he received, but his heart was happy and light, knowing that you were safe and okay.

Walking out of the water, he gently laid down on a random street, making sure not to crush or drop you in the process.

"Take a nap Godzilla,"

You said gently while placing your hand on his face, his eyes slowly fluttered open and closed.

"you deserve it. You saved us, the world... you saved me."

The corner of his lips twitched up some, revealing that he smiled some before his orange eyes fluttered closed.

Curling up in a ball, safe and sound in his hand. The feeling of his hand slowly closing, s smile on your face knowing that even in his sleep he was protecting you.

The next day rolled by, police surrounded Godzilla's hand, they scratched their heads, trying to figure out how to get his hand open to get you out.

With a loud and a strong gust of wind as Godzilla woke up, he breathed out of his nose as he orange eyes fluttered open.

He opened his hand, revealing a sleeping mortal, his eyes locked to a police and then back to your sleeping figure.

The police acted quickly, noting that Godzilla was eye signaling for him to gently take you from his hand.

Picking you up from Godzilla's hand, he slowly sat up, stretching his aching sore dry skin and muscles. He sleepily made his way to the water, only to let out a last war cry before looking over his shoulder at you.

Your eyes fluttered open to watch your savior walk into the water, your eyes locked with his orange eyes.

A smile on your face as you waved to him, Godzilla waved back as he walked into the water, welcoming the nice cool water onto his dry scratched up skin.

This wouldn't be the last time you would see him.
