A VERY big fan of Wolverine/Logan and Rogue/Anna, along with the X-Men franchise, this was a drawing I made for someone VERY close to me who is about an even bigger fan of the two than I am
. We -always- saw these two as the perfect pairing instead of her being with Gambit. I mean, Rogue and Gambit's just...boring. But Rogue and Logan? MUCH more exciting, realistic, and passionate. And for the naysayers because of her powers, Wolvie has his recovery capabilities. Remy doesn't. Logan actually has the chance to be the one to be closest with her. Also, these two have probably had about the loneliest existences of any of the X-Men. Only fair they have their chance

I think you forgot a minor detail in my explanation, or rather left something out...this was simply an opinion piece. As I mentioned before, the two of us see Rogue and Logan as a better pair, just -our- opinion, not anyone's else. And just like a written piece, this is simply fanfic, not set in stone. Everyone's entitled to -their- opinion. We weren't trying to please anyone else. This was simply for us. If others enjoyed it, or have imagined the two together, it was only a nod towards a bit of imagining and fantasy
Honestly tho, Remy's a SERIOUS player. He's not exactly a choir boy. The whole 'mysterious, dark, and handsome' look and act gets old. And Logan's never actually cheated. Every woman he falls for is either killed or murdered. Give the guy a break. All he wants is a quieter life with someone to settle down with, but he never catches a break. Don't forget Victor Creed and Romulus have made his life pretty much a living hell. Like I mentioned before, we just wanted to see the guy happy. Her too. And Logan only has the warnings because he's quiet, not an asshole. Big difference. Not many really understand him. He just likes to be alone for most of the time. I mean, if you had to deal with ALL he's dealt with over the years, you wouldn't exactly be the cheeriest of individuals. Also, he's not very trusting of people, again because of how many times he's been used. The guy simply just doesn't take any shit. And his tolerance for BS is non-existent. Again, doesn't make him a bad guy, just misunderstood.

That's it? How about you give some actual reasons or a more detail explanation to this? Or are you forgetting the fact that Wolverine has been cheating on one woman after the other and gets dumped for it. Hell some women are warning others not to date him. Or that Rogue now has the ability to control who she touches. But the fact that Gambit didn't care about that says a lot of about him... don't try to put him and make these two look better with vague argument...
