Aaah... that's better...It feels like AGES since the last time I drew humanized ponies. Granted, I wasn't very good at it, which is pretty obvious from my early attempts, but I decided to give it another go. I changed the style up a bit so now it looks kinda like the style I use in my Pinkamena comics only, you know, humanized. It was a nice thing to do to take a break from all the comics.
Who still remembers these guys huh ? (it has this title for a reason...) The biggest representatives of the Dark Side of the fandom. All put together by me to form the Mane Six' dark fandom counterparts : the Mean Six. Or Savage Six, or whatever I used to call them...
These guys will always hold a special place in my heart, for various reasons. First of all, my Mean Six pic was one of the first of my attempts to draw humanized ponies. Second, all these characters had a certain impact on me and the way I experienced the fandom. Psycho Twilight is one of the main reasons Twilight's my favourite pony, the whole Derpy debacle was going on right at the moment that I got into the show and I remember it very well, Pinkamena was the first blood/gore tumblr I ever followed and loved and was soon followed by Discorded Whooves, Lil' miss Rarity and Princess Molestia on Tumblr. All of which I greatly enjoyed.
All the more reason to give these guys a little more spotlight from my part. ^^

Dark Derpy was created on the MLP forums when the whole censoring-her-voice-and-eyes-thing happened. She was basically the embodiment of all the hate and sadness that came from that incident. She didn't last long though and never got a story or Tumblr like most of the others did.

Although I disliked Molestia, the others were around when I first joined the fandom as well. My favorite was Lil Miss Rarity and insane Twilight, great job on this ^^

Indeed. Honestly though makes me think of an idea I had earlier involving a ghost of Molly. I kept thinking of her just like appearing in the room while Luna sleeps with "It's me" on the mirror then disappearing.

I really planned to, from the very beginning, but with my comic series going on it'd be just too much work. The original plan was to start a small series on the side with these characters but it got pushed to the background all the time and eventually became my Pinkamena shorts series. Maybe I'll bring the others into that as well, I dunno. I only work on those when I have time and that's something I always lack.

Her "story" was that she was the incarnation of all the hate and sadness Derpy had to endure because of it, causing it to grow dark and depraved. She never got her own tumblr though and the thing died down pretty fast.

Well let's just say they're not nearly as much around anymore as they used to be. And yes, the tumblrs have suffered. Molestia was taken out of the air, the Pinkamena one ended like two years ago (it was a sweet ending but stil, would've likd to see more. Some have tried to revive it but never to much avail.) Psycho Twilight never had a decent tumblr, and the Derpy debacle died down pretty quick, especially now that she's back in S4.
Lil miss Rarity is still going strong though so that's good and I'm pretty sure DW still has his tumblr though I'm not sure how well it's been doing lately.
The creators of the Molestia tumblr are still having some sort of trouble though as they had another one going called ask gamer Luna but that one hasn't updated in monts so I wonder what's going on there.

Yeah, I miss it too. It was adult, sure, but it was also pretty damn hilarious. It's a shame to see it go. The creators still have the "ask gamer Luna" one going but that one hasn't updated in months so I wonder what's going on there.

I like this "oblivionverse" style of these ponies, didn't expect this RD but I know most of them. Would've expected maybe Rocket from Insanity RD, Butchershy/Murdershy, and "An Apple Forgotten" Applejack.
