EnglishDedicated to all people who disable comments on their deviations...anf therefore restrain our freedom of speech.........Nah, just joking
, it is known that a lot of hyena deviants are walking around there, waiting the good occasion to scrap your art and all the stuff, so disabling comments can spare you a lot of inconveniences. 
Maybe I should disable comments on this stamp....

, c'est un secret pour personne que certaines personnes n'attendent qu'une occasion pour venir deverser leur fiel sur vos deviations, desactiver les commentaires vous epargne certainement beaucoup de desagrements. Peut-etre que je devrais moi aussi desactiver les commentaires sur ce stamp.....

I found irony that the people that complain about comment be disable are the same type of people that have no problem on blocking someone.Β

I honesty had gotten turned off when I come across a deviation with comments disabled, but I never stopped to think that this is why. Though, I should have. I understand it now.

"Options" section of your deviation, when you edit it, you have an "Allow comments" checkbox. This feature may not be accessible to non-premium members. Not sure.

I've recently decided to disable comments for my own sake, because a lot of comments I get is enough to add to my stress and I don't want that.

I do that due to hate comments, and comments like "Ugh" or "..." which aren't very well thought out comments.

-On the right panel, click the edit button.
-In "Options" section, deploy "Publishing Options", then uncheck the box "Allow comments".
-Then click "Update" at the bottom.
Important: This feature is perhaps available only for subscribers. Don't know.

I find it very pathetic that some people get angry for not being able to comment. If they like it, fave 'n run. Really, dA is made for art and art critics. Not a drama site. This could all be avoided if people with disablecommentsbutthurt would humble themselves up and just accept the fact that the artist doesn't want(possibly currently), any feedback.Β
I still find it hard to believe that such a stupid thing like this would flood dA. Thank you for spending your time making this. It is very much appreciated.

DeviantArt are very stupid for not letting us to disable the activity messages, but they even more stupider for not letting us to disable comments in journals and profile! this is sooooooooooooo annoying!

In the edition page of your deviation (when you choose category, keywords, etc...) look for the Options section, open the "Publishing options" panel, unckeck the tickbox "Allow comments".
This feature may be unavailable for non-subscribers members (not sure...)

It's funny, because it's the plain truth. I have seen plenty of innocent pictures or stamps that aren't even anti-stamps, and yet someone randomly shows up just to start trouble. That's one reason to disable comments; so you don't have to worry about cleaning your message box out of unwanted trolling or spamming.
