My willowy Greys that I made in Spore based off of the cover art of the book "Communion"This spaghetti-like creature floats gracefully around your house when you aren't looking, and even when you are. But you wouldn't remember that, you were made to forget.

What do you think the silence were based on?
The Silence are a very clever character, Grey aliens are supposed to look so familiar to us because of the influence of the Silence, that we do infact subconsciously remember their faces without knowing.

I always connected the Silence with the weird and overly-used Slender Man monster thing, but now that I see it in a paranormal/cryptozoological way, It's more clear to me.

The silence arent really Cryptozoological at all. Science-fiction for sure. Unless you were talking about Slenderman, he's very paranormal. Although similiar, they arent related to eachother.
And I wholsomely agree, Slenderman is overused.

Well, I kinda meant how I know see the Silence in a Grey-ish origin because of what you said about them and the "little green men"
