Description
There once was a type of menacing demon that crossed the beaten paths of the ancient mountains on Earth. Twice the height of an average man with curling horns of the same length, that alone displayed its mere monstrous size. Armed with fangs and razer sharp hooves, with glowing eyes set into the sockets of its very skull, the Helbex once killed everything in its path.

Each Helbex carries stitched up scars on their shoulders, stitched not by thread but by old skin. It was a sign of the creatures' falling to become something more sinister and dangerous. Evil. Only the highest order of Helbex, the Helix Helbex, managed to keep their wings, wings that resembled a bat's with a wingspan that was double the length of its body from nose to tail tip. Those were the most dangerous and sinister of all.

Unlike the ibex of modern earth, the Helbex craved the taste of flesh, human flesh and blood. The silver horns of the hell beast were cherished as prized goods, and though the Helbex was an unrivaled predator in the mountains, the humans learned and hunted them into extinction for their pelt and horn.

A Helbex hasn't been seen for over a thousand years, or so it's been said...

I have no idea why, but I found myself really wanting to draw an ibex, and then the idea slowly morphed from the regular mountain goat to this grotesque man eating monster. And I love it. I wanna take it home with me! XD
