GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!!!!!.......er.......YU YU HAKUSHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.............er..............YU YU BUSTERS!!!!!!!!...........Ghost Hakusho?.....aggg.....no way to combine those two to make them sound cool. Anyways, this has been an idea that just hasn't left my head until now. Ever since I watched this AMV of Yu Yu Hakusho to the ghostbusters theme song, I've always been able to imagine them running around with the nifty gadgets like the Proton Packs and the Ghost Detector. Now I finally sat myself down and made the pic I've always wanted to make, though I regret not putting Pu in there.I have to say one of the hardest charcters to draw and make look half decent would have to be Kuwabara. Hiei is second hardest for me, followed by Yusuke, and then Kurama. I'm proud of how my Kuwabara turned out though. I'm dissapointed in the coloring of the Proton Packs though (For those that don't know, those are the backpacks with the gun type things attached to them.) They just look a little too flat to me but I've never really been good at coloring andything Metal.

here is a tip. add a few thin white or silver stripes on the metal parts on the guns and packs to help add more depth, and make them look more like metal. preferably where the light is shining on them.

Honestly no...I drew this a LOOOONG time ago...actually been thinking about taking it down since it's the only piece I get attention on anymore and it's really not that well drawn.

I just realized that Kuwabara looks a lot like Egon with his hair style.
Very interesting combination. Ghostbusters was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and now I am currently interested in YuYu Hakusho.
Good job with it, the piece as a whole turned out really good.

This was a seriously creative idea. Something I would have never thought of doing in a million years. I can just see Kuahara (may not be spelled right) swinging the ecto plasma gun at the demons. This deserves a fav just for originality alone.

LOL! No, it's quite alright ^^ I am a huge yu yu hakuso fan myself. Seen the whole series and I believe there were only two movies. The one your refering to is the second one as far as I know were the spirit world falls prey to the nether world and they have to fight in order to restore the spirit world yada yada. Was not my favorite. I prefer the series its self to be honest... If there are more than two though please let me know cause I'd love to get my hands on them.

Yay! Actually it's Kuwabara, I think his name was pronounced Kuwahara in only one of the movies and I remember it driving me nuts, everytime yelling at the screen "His name is Kuwabara!!! Not Kuwahara!" Actually that's his last name but everyone just calls him that except for Yukina and his sister Shizuru who call him Kazuma. .......oh I'm sorry I went off with rambling! ><;;

DooD, I called that. I knew that it was going to be something YYH...^_^ It just works. I like the way Kuwabara's hair came out though, good jorb! Hiei also looks quite good as well, and I just overall LOVE the idea ^^
