Hey guys!
I was going to do a full sheet of these bad boys, but I don't want to make people wait that long when I can get them up as I finish them. So here's the first little guy! He's a bit shorter than most drippies, but a lil' firecracker, I'm sure. x)

Drippies, as the fae Children of Dalloo call them, are some of the most curious (and messiest) creatures on the island. Drippies are feral,magical beasts made entirely of clay. No one knows where they originated, but some murmur of a fabled pool of sentient, muddy earth, lying close to the dark castle of an evil sorceress, with a "hive mother" mentality. Not many are able to roam near the sorceress's castle and live to return, so the rumors of this magically irradiated pool are sketchy at best.

Drippies are generally harmless creatures - to humans and fea-folk at least. To sprites, they are a terrifying nightmare. Drippies often destroy sprite groves and consume them - in particular, they go after fire sprites, which warm their clay bodies enough to take on a constantly soft texture, without being hot enough to decompose their bodies enough to a pile of goop! Most drippies will trap the fire sprites in the "furnace" of their bellies so they can keep their ever-dripping, soft form, which - to them - if a very soothing feeling indeed.

"Infected" drippies are those that have not consumed a fire sprite or are not able to due to a freaky allergic reaction (allergic drippies are extremely rare and VICIOUS, and not included on the sheet. ;3 ) These infected beasts are in constant pain, for their clay bodies are very dry and hard in most places, and the constant grating of joints and parts against each other is agonizing at best. This is why drippies need fire sprites, to keep their bodies malleable and fully functional. Because the buildup of hard clay is common in infected species, these little guys often develop large horns and protrusions over time.

This is a CLOSED species. You may not create your own drippy.
The only way to get one is to adopt or receive permission from to create one
