-At the age of 9 Casey was diagnosed with a tumour in her brain, after suffering from a stroke. Not long after did the tumour cause her complete paralysis. Her family always came to the hospital to see her everyday, even if Casey couldn't move she still relied on their company, one of the only things giving her hope that everything will be okay. Every night after becoming paralyzed however, a large spider would creep into her room, crawling over her skin and just sit there for hours until dawn broke. Casey couldn't scream or even move an inch when it came but after awhile she enjoyed its consistent visits, having imaginary conversations with it in her head even. One night it didn't come, she waited all night...but nothing. Later that morning she passed away, her eyes still open staring at the window, still waiting...
