Some homework for the CGMA class I'm taking.
The Cactus shadow doesn't make much sense since it wouldn't stay realistically still like that as the day progresses, but I didn't have much time to toy with it unfortunately since it was due in the morning and I had no time to do it earlier this week. So I tried to just focus on the colors and light
When I get my critique back, I'll definitely revisit something similar to this as a daily and mind the details that I rushed through here.

I've seen a lot of your daily paintings, and I must say I am very impressed!! I really like the shading in the frames here. My only tip of critique(though others may have already said this...).. I assume you are going for a realistic lighting here. Sunrise rises in the east and sets in the west. The shadow of the cactus stays stagnant through all frames. The first three frames could work well, being the cactus is facing west with the sun on it's back, then reaching noon producing it's shadow directly underneath. But from Golden Hour onwards, the shadow should be behind the cactus, if this were mimicking the real rotation of the sun.
Other than that, you were spot on on the colour schemes. I could feel the exact time of day in each frame! And I really enjoy the emotion in each frame. It shows not everyone is Β day person

I really like this one! You captured the different moods perfectly! However one little thing I noticed: The shadow always falls on the same side, however during a day it would wonder around your little fellow due to the sun's movement. It also would improve the feeling of time passing :3 but otherwise really great

Gonna say something real quick if you didn't notice, the shadows facing the same way in the morning hours and the dusk. Like if its facing west then the shadow should be behind him because he's facing the sun (shadow in front in the morning). BUt srsly, this is still too adorb.
