Finally finished @_@ Had to push this out in one day! Will probably come back and touch up the coloring later, not very satisfied with it >__<

Abilities/power: Alexandros cannot use magic, but rather, is a creature of pure magic himself. He is able to shift his state at will to a form that embodies any one of the 8 elements (fire, water, air, earth, metal, tree, light, dark). His body changes until it is made purely of the element of his choice, and each state has its individual strengths and weaknesses. He wears the form that best suits his current needs, though spends most of his time in what he calls his ‘mortal form’; made of flesh and blood. Shifting between Elements is tiring, so he cannot do it too many times in a row. Once he is in a particular state he can maintain it indefinitely, but changing to another Element costs him energy; doing so five times in a day is his limit, and tires him greatly. 8 shifts in a day is his absolute max, and only if he is desperate; he will fall into a deep sleep for days or weeks after if this happens. He also cannot switch immediately between opposing elements (e.g. Fire to Water or Air to Earth) without transferring to some other neutral element in between (e.g. Fire to Earth, and then to Water). His 'area of effect' for his powers is about a 30ft radius.
Specific Abilities:
-Fire: can control flames and bend them to his will, but is weak against Water.
-Water: controls water and can also change it’s state (gas, solid, liquid). Weak against Tree.
-Air: can fly and control the winds, but his powers have no effect against Earth or Metal.
-Earth: controls rocks and crystals/gems. Weak against Metal.
-Metal: controls any kind of metal around him and can shape it to his need. Susceptible to fire (melting. Can control metal only in it’s solid state)
Tree: controls any living plant, can make them grow and move to his will. Weak against Fire and Metal.
Light: able to control light and therefore make illusions. Also gives him slight healing ability that he can use keep people with major wounds alive until more help is found, or can heal uncomplicated wounds. So, he can heal a gash in the flesh and muscle, but cannot heal internal bleeding/extensive damage to your squishy inside bits. Weak against Darkness if it is from a source stronger than himself (someone who specializes in dark magic, for example), but will burn it away otherwise. Does no damage against any other element, serves only to trick and confuse.
Dark: controls darkness and shadows, making them into a physical thing that he can wield and cause damage with. Weak against Light, if it is from a source stronger than himself (someone who specializes in Light magic), and against fire because it emits light. This Elemental form is weaker if used during the day (unless he is somewhere with very little light).

History: Alexandros was found as a squalling infant by a pair of elves who had been mated a long time, but had never been able to have children of their own. Looking on it as a blessing from some unknown power, the pair took the baby in and raised him as their own. It wasn’t long before they thought they might have gotten more than they bargained for when the little boy began to form shift at random when he turned five. Caring for and disciplining a child made of pure fire, or water, or even air was no easy task. Fortunately Jorreth was not unpracticed in the magical arts, and his wife Ellira was a powerful healer. Between the two of them, they managed to make it through this awkward period in the boy’s life until they were able to impress upon him the importance of being responsible with his budding powers.
Alexandros had a happy childhood amongst the elves, but eventually decided to leave their city home for Vinnoss Island to study magic at one of the universities there, hoping to follow in his father’s footsteps.
It soon became apparent, though, that while Alexandros was extremely magical, he was unable to wield it in the form of spells. Disappointed, but undeterred, he made the best of it and learned everything he could about magic, particularly that regarding elemental magic, such as his own. All magic relies on the elements, and so though he could not use spells, he found an aptitude for assisting others in learning. Feeling this was his life’s calling, he stayed in school and eventually became a professor there; conducting further studies on, and teaching classes about, Elemental Magic.
When he was still a student, Alexandros met, and eventually fell in love with a young human woman named Lily. She grew to love him in return and they soon got married and lived a happy life together. Lily was at the university studying to better her healing abilities, which while extremely powerful, took a very high toll on her own health. It was because of this that their life together was cut tragically short. When she was only 35 she was killed while healing a mortally wounded patient, having unwittingly sacrificed her own life to do so; leaving Alexandros a widower.

Personality: Prone to sarcasm, and possessing a rather understated sense of humor, Alexandros isn’t always the easiest person to get along with. He has little patience for people who are unable to keep up with him intellectually, though this doesn’t necessarily mean that he refuses to consort with people who are not as knowledgeable as himself. A teacher at heart, as long as you are willing to learn, Alexandros is more than willing to be patient and explain things to you. Out in society, amongst people he doesn't know, he is somewhat reserved, but always very gentlemanly.
People who are not willing to learn, or to listen to new and different ideas drive him crazy. He can’t stand when people don’t use logic in their arguments, as he prides himself on being a highly logical individual. He tends to look down his nose at people who operate on ‘instinct’ or gut feelings.

Extra Notes:
-When he feels a particularly strong emotion, Alexandros' grasp on his form shifting will sometimes slip, and parts of him will start to change. For example, if he is extremely angry, his hair will sometimes spontaneously combust. If he is extremely happy he might start to glow, or if he's deeply offended, things around him might start to freeze. The effects tend to be small, and only in his immediate area, or occurring to some part of himself.
-Alexandros has invested a lot of research and money into one suit of clothes (the ones he is shown wearing), developing them with the help of fellow professors and magic specialists. What is so special about them is that they are able to form shift with him, rather than burning away and leaving him naked if he turns into fire, or falling right off him if he turns to water or air. He doesn't wear them all the time though, reserving them mostly for if he goes into battle or going on a trip. As such, he tends to spend a lot of money on clothes as with his accidental shifts when he's emotional, they tend to get burned or torn up.
-When in his flesh and blood form, Alexandros has extremely limited powers. He can light a candle, or freeze a glass of water, and other little things, but beyond that he is powerless when not in his elemental shape. -As for his sexuality, he's Bisexual, though he's never been with a man. He hasn't really had any serious relationships at all since his wife died.
