Well, here is a redesigned Gertrude!
She's not a "villain" now, she's just an ordinary lonely scientist ;w;
And the girl near her is her creation Miyaka uwu
She's a robot, that spreads love everywhere (well, not really, but she tries)
She's helping Gertrude, but mostly distracts her

I hadn't seen her old design, but I do think that she could go in either direction: "villain" or loner. I do find it quite amusing that one of her ultimate creations is so precious and full of joy.
But Gertrude looks like she needs some joy as well. *gives her a hug and a figurine of whoever her favorite Vocaloid is*
