Mango is not a Gremlin - not really - but she does feel some kinship with her illusory form. Gremlins are fun and simple, and they do not tend to notice that she isn't quite the same as they are. It's refreshing! Exploring this cavern helps her to connect with that part of herself.
And it would be a perfectly pleasant experience, were it not for the laughter. She can't tell exactly where it's coming from - the acoustics in the cave are spectacular and make it sound as though the sound is reverberating all around her - but she's certain that it's a Mimic Gremlin.
Her attempts to find the Mimic are ultimately unsuccessful, but she does some across a small cloth bag. It seems to have been raided for supplies, fragments of glass everywhere and strange fluids forming colourful pools on the floor. Only one potion remains intact. Carefully, the Doppler picks it up in her mouth.
